First illustrated edition printed in Spain, two quarto volumes, title pages printed in red and black; first part illustrated with engraved title, fifteen text etchings; with seventeen text illustrations in the second part; text printed in two columns throughout; bound in contemporary uniform limp parchment, spines with contemporary calligraphic ink titling to both spines, lacking ties, pastedowns released from inside covers, textblocks becoming decased slightly; housed in custom red cloth slipcase; ex libris Ferdinand Andreas von Wiser (1677-1751) with his woodcut armorial bookplate in the first volume; part one with some staining to final few signatures; 8 1/4 x 5 7/8 in.
